lol
and some adjustments to lighting
anyways, that was how the render was made! did go into a small tangent there but hopefully it was insightful in a way lmao
happy 10 years of LIFE!
The remastered soundtrack (which was the only thing to actually come out of this project) will be arriving soon to digital stores

Hello thinkblog community, a terribly mid digest video has been made for the life soundtrack remaster https://stibarc.com/post.html?id=4068
Regarding the remastered tracks, I thought I would go into a bit more detail here. Some of the Life tracks are featured in subsequent compilations, such as the 2025 greatest hits album I had released last year for example
Certain digital stores will receive updated tracks for all releases featuring said tracks from the life soundtrack, but others stores may not get updated
2026-03-06T00:52:49.956Z
Specifically high-res versions of Greatest “Hits” on Apple and Tidal for example unfortunately will not get the updated audio files of songs from the life soundtrack
2026-03-06T00:54:07.072Z
However, the Life Soundtrack release itself of course will be updated on all platforms it is available on, since there are no other alternate versions of it unlike the greatest hits album
2026-03-06T00:55:32.330Z
So I guess to summarize since I probably worded this real word, if you want to listen to the remastered tracks from the life soundtrack, listen to it from the actual Life digital album rather than on say Greatest “Hits”
Real weird* dang
2026-03-06T00:57:58.245Z
This is just mainly due to me remastering these tracks in 16-bit and lower khz than what is required for a “high-res” release, which is like 24-bit 192khz
Whoopsie
2026-03-08T23:41:33.260Z
the remastered tracks have started to roll out! i believe most of them are on spotify and apple music so far. other stores may take awhile to update. https://found.ee/lifegsdr
while i was able to make the tracks sound more clearer and less uh grainy, they still are a bit quiet compared to mainstream tracks so apologies there. one of these days i will figure out normalization lol

Every week, various streaming platforms send weekly statistic emails for streams or whatever for artists. Got one today and apparently, I have been on Swedish radio without knowing about it until now

Like what lmaooooo
Unsolicited airplay in the big 2026?
2026-03-12T06:16:28.420Z
I’m not too sure how they stumbled upon my messy catalog of GarageBand shit music, but I guess I can say now my music has been played on radio outside of the states
This song was released as a single in 2022, but the ironic thing is another single of mine released in that year I actually did send to radio
Well “internet radio” I guess, via Pandora and Spotify
2026-03-12T06:20:07.571Z
“Kodoku wo Kanji shinai de” is like an alt-electronic song so honestly they have taste
2026-03-14T23:31:37.889Z
Omg we are so back
2026-03-14T23:36:28.831Z

I really wanted to write yesterday oml

So anyways, 10 years of my flop project Life, right? Soundtrack got a nice little remaster to celebrate since it is the only thing that came out of the project
March 20th however, a standalone release consisting of songs composed by Isaac will be released
While I was able to get rid of the grain and amp the loudness a bit on the original soundtrack release, I couldn’t make extreme changes without digital stores throwing a fit so hence this separate release
2026-03-14T23:52:26.362Z
Due to limitations of our distribution services, both Isaac and I are credited as performing artists on the original soundtrack album, which is totally unfair to him as I didn’t make the tracks he provided. So this standalone release at least has him credited as the only primary artist.
2026-03-15T02:52:27.742Z
Sorry there was an outage so I didn’t get to finish what I was gonna say 🗿
But yeah, standalone release of remastered Issac-composed tracks, out march 20.
This release will also be on Apple Music. For some reason, the life soundtrack got deleted off of Apple Music some years ago
So I’m hoping this one will stay up at least
2026-03-15T02:55:11.998Z
I think it might be a sample used that is being flagged or something weird with the ISRC’s
2026-03-15T02:56:56.812Z
Or maybe it’s one of my tracks being flagged, I’m not sure I don’t get a provided reason lol
2026-03-15T02:58:09.725Z
Anywho, when the release is out, you can listen here https://found.ee/JM3Music-SFTLS_IS

Hi, got an unfortunate update on the Life soundtrack remaster https://stibarc.com/post.html?id=4072
2026-03-17T16:57:55.909Z
Even way back in 2017, the Life soundtrack relied heavily on GarageBand samples/loops. Unfortunately, someone recently put a contentID on a song of theirs using one of the same exact samples used for the Life recordings
2026-03-17T16:59:22.212Z
A bit upsetting, I am hoping it gets sorted out soon
2026-03-17T17:01:21.772Z
While I understand wanting to make sure you get every bit of money possible for a recording, I find it a bit unfair to put such a thing on a recording that doesn’t make the sample sound “unique”.
2026-03-17T17:08:39.222Z
For my “vast” catalog dating back to 2017, I haven’t bothered to put a contentID on my recordings. Why? Simply because of their heavy reliance on royalty free samples, especially my more recent releases. While I may opt to up or lower the pitch on some samples or add in some additional effects to it, I honestly haven’t done much of anything to make it unique.
2026-03-17T17:21:28.327Z
If your release is mostly original stems and a small piece of samples, I say go and contentID it! But if your recording is just unedited royalty free samples (like my shit for example), I don’t think it’s fair to put a contentID on it.
2026-03-17T17:26:10.488Z
Thats just my little take on it, as someone who uses hella royalty free samples
